Stopped by Opera Super Bowl weekend for the Rick Ross event. If you're not familiar with the crescent street staple, it is a large two story venue that plays primarily hip-hop and top 40s and generally caters to an under 30 crowd. With promotions online and early entry most folks can get in free. However on a busy night or after 11 you can be standing in line for up to an hour! VIP or Bottle service is also a mess. If you're getting a table for something I'd advise going elsewhere. Even though I had a table I still had to wait nearly 40 minutes in the VIP line. VIP in name only! Women and men alike definitely hopped in and out of line without a table or paying VIP. I even walked in after my party arrived no ID check no nothing. Utter chaos. Tables are $300-1000$ depending on size of your group and there was a 3 bottle minimum. Also be intentional on where you want to sit even if you make a reservation they can switch you to their outside spot away from the action and DJ. Fortunately I had low expectations and the music was good so all was well but just want to let folks know you're better off going in regular admission.

Opera Winfrey actually owns this place. If you want to see a lot of very good looking people wearing hardly any clothes then this is the place for you. Not far from all the gay clubs as well so if you aren't sure which way you feel like going for the evening then you have the best of both worlds within a few blocks. Actually the most famous club in the ATL. Massive and with large numbers of people. Did you know that Van Helden, Van Dyk, and Van Tiesto have all done their thing here? As well as Pauly D. Oh wait.

This is one of my favorite upscale spots in midtown! I was invited to the Atlanta Wine Party & was so excited to attend! There were so many wines to try & the DJs kept the party going! I was hungry so I got the Texas fries. Either I was hella famished or those were the best potato fries I've had in some time! So yummy! And it was piping hot! Good look Opera! Overall this experience was amazing! I will be back yet again opera!!!

I visited Opera Nightclub for the Atlanta Wine Party and had a BLAST! The establishment was absolutely beautiful and well-kept. There were various bars and multiple levels. The second level appeared to be set up for VIP tables. I like that it is separated from the dance floor, however sometimes VIPs want to bust a move as well. I understand I was here for a special event so I am not sure what type of crowd is normally here and what type of music, however, I would certainly suggest attending larger events in this space. I hope they host the next Atlanta Wine Party as well!
